Hello!
I've been very busy happily crocheting as always, only this time I'm trying to whip things up quicker than usual! We have a craft show coming up in a little more than a week and the entire thing is very last minute for us, thankfully we have a decent amount already made that we can bring to it. One of the things I decided to make are some slipper socks! About a week ago we were A.C Moore, (a local craft store), and they had big boxes filled with yarn, all $2.00 a piece, it was amazing, there was super expensive yarn on sale for $2.00! When we spotted the boxes, we dug through them and got what we wanted, I found the EXACT yarn I needed to make a pair of slipper socks! Praise the Lord!!! When we got home that night I started on a pair nearly right away, it was so much fun!
Here are my socks in progress, at this point I had already finished one, and was getting close to done with my second one. =)

I can't wait to make the next pair, they'll be brown.
The finished product! I really like these, they are really warm and cozy! I'll be bringing these to the craft show along with, hopefully, another pair. Prayerfully, we'll do well at the craft show!
I think I'll eventually make myself a pair!
Earlier on in my post I mentioned yarn being on sale for $2.00, one of the kind of yarn that was in the sale box was Lion Brand Organic Cotton! It is SO soft and beautiful! I LOVE it! The Organic Cotton is usually $8.49 PER skein so I got an amazing deal and was so thankful! I was ridiculously excited when I bought this, the cashier probably thought I was a nut. =)
This was so much fun to wind on my ball winder, it was so easy and looks' gorgeous after it's neatly wound! =D
I bought four different colors, strawberry, espresso, walnut, and berry jam. Using the espresso and berry jam, I crocheted myself a neck warmer, I cannot wait until autumn comes and I can use it! I'm very happy with the way it came out, it is so soft! I love cotton! =D
I took this picture when it was about 90 degrees outside, my neck was more than just warm! LOL
Lastly, I made a couple of things for my sisters birthday, an owl and a bunny! I really like the bunny, it came out pretty cute, I think I'll make some for our etsy shop!
For part of the owl I used fun fur yarn, it was NOT fun to crochet with, but I really like the way it looks!
I really love the bunny's floppy ears, they're pretty cute!
I think my favorite part of the bunny might be his little cotton tail, it's adorable!
His tail is "so fluffy I'm gonna die!" LOL
Well, I think that's all for now! I have a lot of crocheting to keep me busy for a while! I have to make more things for the craft show and etsy, plus finish my mom's birthday gift! I love having a lot of crocheting lined up to do because then I always have something I can be working on! =D
Have a great day!!! =D
