Flynn!

Hello! I have some very exciting news! I got a free kitten on craigslist yesterday and am super happy! He's eight weeks old and his name is Flynn, he's the cutest little guy ever! I cannot believe how tiny he is!

I had a hard time naming him, but for a while now I've been saying if I ever had a boy kitten I would name it Flynn after Flynn Ryder on Tangled!

So far he has been really good, he is adjusting to his new home really well and I adore him! Everyone in the house is liking him, but how can anyone not like a kitten!?

He's really playful as well, so it was hard getting pictures of him! He's a little bit of a brat, but that's what I love about him! He is also really nosy, which makes him even cuter!

He's a cuddly little guy, he slept right by my head all night long, and woke me up this morning to play with him. He loves to grab at my hair and runs around and plays like a little maniac, it's fun watching him.

 

 

I'm so happy I was finally able to get a kitten, I love having him and am really glad he has adjusted so well.

Owls and a Bee

Hello! I've been busy making many things lately, we've been adding new items, and making lots of things to go onto our shop, which is called Just Girls With Yarn! One thing I've been working on is crocheted owls, for the most part they're a lot of fun to make, and they don't take very long. I'm also making some couch tissue box covers because a friend of my grandma's ordered four, which we were all very excited about! Praise the Lord!

These are the owls, I'm really praying these little guys will sell! Owls seem to be pretty popular right now so we'll see how it goes.

 

 

I also made up a pattern for a bumble bee, it came out pretty cute, my favorite part of him are the antennas!

 

The little guy looks so happy! =)

 

 

 

At first I wasn't going to attempt to put a stinger on it, but my mom and sisters insisted I tried, I was glad they did, it looks much better with a stinger!

 

 

It looks like he's ready to fly away! haha

 

This last picture was really just for fun! I've got my owls and my bee all up in the tree! The lighting today was great for taking pictures of handmade things, it was so much fun!

 

 

 

I, as well as my family, are really praying our Etsy shop will do well as we girls are trying to work from home. It has been a lot of fun this week making things for our Etsy shop, it'll be interesting to see what the Lord does! I hope you're having a great day!

The New House

Hello! We are now officially settled into our new house in Connecticut and really enjoying the property we are living on. There have been deer here nearly ever day, it's been a blast watching them!

This is a picture of the mama with one of her babies, they're the ones that are here most often, they're so beautiful!

A couple of days ago the papa was here along with the mama and two babies, we're pretty sure the mama is the biggest out of all of them but it was still neat to see the buck!

 

 

These babies are just too cute for words! I love watching them, they don't seem to be afraid of us either.

 

As you can see, one of the babies decided to lay down in the grass in our yard, it was laying there for a long time while its family was eating.

 

 

One of the babies kept trying to nurse off the mama and she was getting irritated, it was hilarious!

 

 

We also have a lot of bunnies in our yard, they're everywhere, which will make gardening interesting!

 

 

There's lots of pretty flowers around us as well!

Some pretty butterflies as well, they aren't as easy to get pictures of though! =)

 

 

 

 

This is a picture of the road we're living on, it's very private and quiet, praise the Lord!

We have some wild berries growing around the yard and in the woods as well, they're delicious!

 

Here are some pictures of the property, it really is a pretty place, lots of good gardening spots!

 

 

 

I've been enjoying taking some pictures of the land God has provided for us, and also taking pictures of His beautiful creation! It is amazing to stop and really look around at what God has created!
